Opiate Pain Medicine Analgesics

Patients who suffer from severe back or neck pain may require opiates.  Long term opiate use can cause psychological and physical dependency as well as tolerance.  Tolerance to opiates leads to ever increasing dosages to treat the same amount of pain.  Common opiates are:
